I dare you to build a child with compassion. Go right ahead. Teach them whom to bow their heads to, and then they will learn the power of praise. It's okay to manage their life with adult wisdom, choose their friends until they learn that association brings on assimilation, and just like that.. A new star is born. I challenge you to push them beyond their breaking point while nurturing their independence of you. It's a balancing act that even the strongest parent of all must learn to muster. I'm sincerely asking that you take your role as Mommy, and, or Daddy seriously for life. Don't just cheer for your child when they are up. Cheer louder, longer, and obnoxiously sincere whenever their cookie finally crumbles. Clean up their mess with them. Let them sweep while you hold the dust pan. Don't throw a life to chance. Be purposeful in your dealings of your offspring. Contemplate their future while you rest at night. Dream of their life unfolding right before your very eyes. Let time pass you right on by without ever considering it's worth. Time waits on no one, so don't wait on it. The only thing worth living for is a life of purpose, passion, and monumental love.
