If I dated a woman that looked like a man my couple photo would look like this.
Her a man. Him a girl.
Go ahead. Look closely at this picture. How would you ever know that this is a woman? I would date a man with this face. After all, I like big, and chocolate. My boy Khalil has both. He is employed by a Fortune 500 company, has a 401 k, benefits, and believes in God, and family.
I use to wonder what the hell anyone would see in woman pretending to be a man. Then I met Khalil. It's taken me a few years to wrap my mind around the normalcy of Transgender dating. I still have so many questions about the dynamics of who is the women, and who is the man.
What happens when your sister becomes your new brother? Is it appropriate to buy him a strap on as a gift?
Here are a few little-known facts about Transgender dating:
Viagra will never be needed.
Strap on size is made to order.
You can't get pregnant.
I can't think of anymore. This is a going to be an ongoing segment of my Gypsy discoveries. Every single time I talk to Khalil I learn more about what It means to Transgender. We have all watched Bruce Jenner/ Caitlyn make a spectacle of the Physical transformation of changing his body to fit into society. But, the mental anguish is much more disturbing. Khalil's transformation includes regular psychiatric visits. He receives Hormone replacement, has already had a Breast reduction, and testosterone injections. Next up for him is a hysterectomy. This is mind blowing to say the least. Instead of judging someone for their choices, let's all take a moment to understand the difference between everyone. No one says that you have to indulge in Transgender dating. But, if I did. I would date Khalil. Stand by. There is much more to come.
